The process

How TENDARA actually works, step by step.

Not a feature list. This is the actual sequence, from your first module to the moment your numbers start telling a different story than they used to.

Start to finish

Five steps. Repeated monthly after that.

1
Weeks 1–3

Work through the course, together

Ten modules, one topic at a time, roughly 20 to 30 minutes each. You each answer privately first, honestly, without worrying about what your partner will think. Then you compare.

This part isn't about finishing fast. It's about actually having the ten conversations most couples have been avoiding for years.

2
After the course

Put your real numbers in

This is where it stops being hypothetical. Connect your accounts or enter your numbers by hand: income, debt, savings, spending. Whatever you have.

Nothing here is scored or graded. There's no number telling you if you're doing well or badly. The only goal is to see it clearly, together, maybe for the first time.

3
Same sitting

Get your eyes and hands on it, together

Open the Couple's View and look at the same numbers, at the same time, side by side. See where you already agree and where you don't.

TENDARA turns the gaps between you into conversation starters, so neither of you has to be the one who brings it up cold.

4
As it comes up

Notice how you each respond

Looking at real numbers together brings up real reactions: defensiveness, shutdown, guilt, the urge to control. That's the part a spreadsheet or budgeting app skips entirely.

The course modules on money patterns and your negative loop are built for exactly this moment, so you can recognize the reaction while it's happening instead of after it's already turned into the same old fight.

5
Ongoing, monthly

Come back once a month and update the numbers

Once a month, not once and done. You're not tracking every dollar. You're checking in on what's actually shifted, both in the numbers and in how the two of you talk about them.

Most real change doesn't show up in a single sitting. It shows up in the pattern across a few months of coming back.

What to expect

What actually changes, and what we won't promise.

Every couple starts from a different place, so we're not going to tell you exactly what will shift for you. Here's what tends to show up across the couples who stick with the monthly check-in.

Individually
You start recognizing your own money patterns in the moment, not just after the fact. The reaction that used to feel automatic starts to feel like a choice.
Together
You argue about money less, not because the numbers got easier, but because you understand why your partner reacts the way they do. Managing money together and moving towards shared goals becomes something you can actually see.

We don't guarantee a specific outcome for your relationship or your finances. TENDARA is an educational tool, not therapy and not financial advice.

Ready when you are

That's the whole process.

Five steps, then a monthly habit. No guessing about what comes next.
